October 2023 - Wall of Fame inductees have been thin on the ground of late and then 2 come along in the same week. Fellow shooting enthusiast Russell shot this perfect 40 to make it onto the Wall. Nicely shot Sir 👏👏
November 2023 - it’s been a great month for Wall of Fame inductees and Jalal rounds out the month for us with this maximum score of 40. There was fierce competition with the rest of the family but Jalal kept his cool and won through in the end. Well shot Jalal, that showed them 😂👏👏
December 2023 - Go Gini ! Our first Wall of Fame inductee for December with a perfect score of 60 on the air rifles. Superb shooting...and you thought you wouldn't be able to do this ! Awesome 👏👏
April 2024 - What can we say ! After a rocky start and determined to show the family who is boss David shot this excellent score of 40 to qualify for our Wall of Fame…but there was a twist to this tale, see the next entry for Will for further details 🤔. Well shot David 👏👏
April 2024 - Will (aka Robin Hood, or so he says, I thought it was Will Scarlet but what do I know), shot this most perfect end to show David the way home. Not only is this a maximum score of 40 but all the arrows are in the inner 10 ring, or 4 X’s in archery parlance, which is simply the very best it could possibly have been. In fact I think this is the 1st time we have seen this, a real trailblazer…maybe he is Robin Hood after all 🤔. Very well shot Will 👏👏
June 2024 - This week we were honoured to receive a visit from Chris, a 5 times Butlins Archery Champion. It came as no surprise that, with such a pedigree, Chris shot superbly to not only become the Champion on the day but also qualify for our Wall of Fame with this excellent perfect score of 40. Well shot Chris 👏👏👏
August 2023 - Our second & third new inductees of the week are also old friends who have shot with us before. Captain Zeak and big brother Cale both qualified for the Wall of Fame and, in a first for us, both on the same end ! Special mention should go to little brother Jace who put up with my relentless kidding all through the archery and air rifle sessions. There aren't many that would take that in such good grace Well done Jace and well done Zeak and Cale 👏👏.
August 2024 - Simon, determined to keep the kids in their place, shot this superb maximum score of 40 to prove there's life in the old dog yet 🙄. Excellants shooting Sir and long may it continue 👏👏👏
August 2023 - The last of our four inductees this week is Oliver who managed all 6 shots inside the 9 zone on a 14cm target at 20m. No mean feat that when you've never shot before ! Very well done Ollie 👏👏
August 2024 - In a bumper weekend for the Wall of Fame Chris became our 3rd inductee to the Wall. Utterly determined to qualify it took Chris almost to the last arrow to succeed but perseverance paid off with this awesome score of 40. Well played Sir 👏👏👏
August 2024 - Rounding off what has been a spectacular August we have Daniel with this perfect score of 40. There was more than a little banter going on but Daniel held his nerve and triumphed despite this with a beautifully shot end to qualify for our Wall of Fame. Well played Sir 👏
September 2024 - We had the whole family out to shoot with us but in the end it was Dad John who, quite rightly, emerged victorious to qualify for our Wall of Fame. John shot this superb perfect score of 40 despite the efforts of the Terrible Twins & Co. Well shot John, that showed them 👏👏
October 2023 - There has been a bit of a Wall of Fame drought of late but Katelyn has rescued us 🙏. This very well shot group narrowly missed being a perfect score but got the job done nicely. Great shooting Katelyn 👏👏
September 2024 - Josh took a lot of stick during this section and even managed to set himself up for a fall. Consequently it was with mixed feelings that he managed to qualify for our Wall of Fame with this outstanding end of 4 X’s .It doesn’t get any better than this and Josh was elated, however, just to dampen the mood slightly, it also meant he had to buy the rest of the family lunch. Never mind Josh, when you’re good you’re good and there’s no point trying to hide it. Well shot Sir 👏👏👏
October 2024 - It’s been a while since we had a new Wall of Famer and we had just about given up hope for October…until Alastair saved the day at the very last moment. This brilliant perfect score of 40 showed the rest of the family how it should be done. Very well shot Alastair 👏👏
May 2025 - Our old friends Nathan and Kat came back to see us again this week. Nathan, determined to beat his score from 2 years ago, shot this perfect score to qualify for our Wall of Fame. He made us wait for it though, there were many 39’s and 38’s before, at the very last moment, he shot this awesome group all in the 10. Well played that man 👏👏👏.
