October 2026 - Yet another Wall of Fame inductee; this is turning into a bumper month! James, despite a prodigious degree of heckling from the rest of the group, remained cool under pressure and shot this magnificent score of 40 to qualify for the Wall. Brilliant shooting James 👏👏👏
October 2026 - Our second inductee to the Wall of Fame in October is Simon. A first-time shooter, Simon shot this brilliant 60 on a 14cm target at 20m. No mean feat, especially if you haven't shot before. Very well done Sir 👏👏👏
October 2026 - On the very first day of the month, we were blessed to have more old friends come back to visit us. Antony and Alex are both high achievers with Alex being one of the few to have made the Wall of Fame for air rifles. Now the balance has been restored with Antony shooting this perfect score of 40 to qualify for the Wall in archery. Well shot Sir 👏👏👏.
September 2026 - Our first September inductee to the Wall of Fame is Christian. A first-time archer, but serial sportsman who is, we're told by Mrs Christian, always annoyingly good at whatever he does. That doesn't detract from this brilliant achievement though. Two X's and 2 x 10's is pretty blooming good in anyone's book. Well played Sir 👏👏👏. Another sport to add to the repertoire perhaps Christian 🤔
August 2026 - In what can only be described as an outstanding demonstration of the art of archery, Paul shot this truly brilliant score of 40 to qualify for our Wall of Fame. The rest of the family were left in the shade of Paul's brilliance and could only wonder whether he could repeat the feat when we move to the air rifle range later in the week. What a fine example to set; well played that man 👏👏👏
July 2026 - Old friends came back to see us again (thank you) for their annual archery competition, and Grandad Michael showed them all the way home. The competition is on the last end of the session, with the highest score being declared the winner. Michael, being the kind and caring Grandad that he is, deliberately shot a bad score on that end to give the others a chance of glory. However, having already shot this perfect 40, there was little to prove anyway. Well shot Sir 👏👏👏.
June 2026 - rounding out a stunning June we have Hector with this awesome 40. Hector is another of our right-handed and left eye dominant archers that we made shoot left-handed. He didn’t want to, but had a go…and just look at the result ! Well shot Hector 👏👏👏. Oh yes, congratulations on your engagement, we wish you both all the very best for the future.
June 2026 - At last, another Wall of Fame inductee on the air rifles! It had been just over a year since we last had a perfect score of 60 on the air rifles, until Tony came along and shot this. That’s awesome shooting Tony, well done 👏👏👏
May 2026 - Our latest Wall of Fame inductee is David with this fantastic score of 40. 2026 is turning into a bumper year for the Wall of Fame, which is a great thing to see. David came along on his own, took onboard all he was told and got his just reward. Excellent shooting Sir 👏👏👏
May 2026 - Yet another of our returning friends, Matt, makes it onto the Wall of Fame with this perfect score of 40. After shooting 39’s on several occasions in the past, this was a superb achievement. It’s always good to see people come back to shoot with us again, and always very much appreciated…especially when they shoot so well. Brilliant shooting Matt 👏👏👏. Now the question is…can you do it again next year?
May 2026 - This year seems to be turning into a bumper year for the Wall of Fame. This week, Simon, a shy and retiring chap, shot this excellent score of 40. Please notice that 3 of those 10’s are actually inside the X ring, something that is rarely achieved. Brilliant shooting Simon, well done 👏👏👏
April 2026 - The run of Wall of Fame inductees continues to gain pace with this excellent, perfect 40 from Luke. Luke is another of our returning archers, thank you Luke, who has seen some brilliant improvements over the years to reach this awesome achievement. Brilliant shooting Luke, very well done 👏👏👏
April 2026 - It was wonderful to see Graham and the family back on our archery range again (thank you), and made all the more special when Graham shot this absolutely superb score of 40. It was a cause of instant consternation for the rest of the family and we suspect it’ll be a long time before they’re allowed to forget just how good he is. Well shot Graham, enjoy basking in the glory of this excellent achievement 🤭👏👏
April 2025 - We can’t help but feel this fantastic, perfect score shot by Jez is going to be a source of great irritation to the rest of the family. Everyone was having such a great time right up until Jez did this. Don’t worry Jez, when you’re this good, there’s no point trying to hide it. They’re just jealous of your outstanding archery skills. 👏👏👏
April 2026 - Our 2nd Wall of Fame qualifier of the day is Martin. Fair play to Martin, he is right-handed but left eye dominant, so, despite some reluctance, he gave shooting left-handed a go and just look at the result. Thank you for having enough faith in us to give it a good go Martin and we’re glad you got the result you so richly deserved. Every day is a school day and, hopefully, you learned something new as well as having a bit of fun. Brilliant shooting 👏👏👏
April 2026 - Keith is one of those rare people who came back to shoot with us again and qualified for the Wall of Fame a second time. We are lucky to have so many people come back to shoot with us year after year and it is always gratifying to see them enjoy the experience and achieve such wonderful resullts. Excellent shooting Keith and thank you for bringing the family back to see us 👏👏👏
January 2026 - only a week into the new year and we have our first Wall of Fame inductee. Key, shooting for the first time, achieved this marvellous, perfect score of 40.
